Bookclubs

The Central Highlands Regional Library Corporation Book Club package is available to library members who wish to form their own book clubs. Each book set contains 10 copies and a reading guide. There are over 140 titles to choose from.

There is an annual subscription fee of $140 per club, per calendar year.

Book club applications for 2009 are now open.  To ensure a place in the 2009 Book Club program please return your completed registration form to any branch library.

The First Tuesday Book Club
The First Tuesday Book Club is ABC TV's first nationally televised book club. Hosted by Jennifer Byrne it draws on the basic models of national and international book clubs, the series brings to the screen the pleasures that draw millions of clubbers worldwide to these groups with their shared love of reading. It is a nationally televised forum for literary debate and conversation not easily found elsewhere.

The next books discussed will be Breath by Tim Winton and Demons at dusk by Peter Stewart.
