Fees and Charges

Overdue charges are payable on items returned late. Overdue notices are a courtesy reminder for your convenience.

Please contact the library promptly if there is a problem or possible error. The safe return of items by the due date is the borrower's responsibility.

If library material is lost, damaged or stolen while in your care, you will be charged the replacement cost of the items, plus a processing fee.

Following is a list of library fees and charges that apply from July 1st 2008.

Fines	$0.25 per day per item - maximum $5.00 per item
Reservations	*no charge (maximum 10 at anytime)
Replacement library card	*$2.00
Photocopying/Printing	*$0.20
Fax: sending	$2.20 first page $1.10 each page thereafter
Fax: receiving	*20 cents per page
Lost or damaged items	Cost of replacement
Processing fee	*$5.50
Debt Collection Charge	*$25.00
Inter Library loans	*$2.00 plus any other charges incurred
Library bags	*$2.50
Computer disks	*$1.00
Meeting room hire (Ballarat branch)	*$50.00 per session (3 sessions per day)
Book covering	*$5.50 per item
Book Club Packages:	*$140
Library Book Club membership	$44 per person per year*
