Information Technology Support Officer
Central
Highlands Regional Library Corporation (CHRLC) is seeking to appoint an Information
Technology Support Officer. This position will be based at Library
Administration in Ballarat.
The
successful applicant will be assisting the IT Support Coordinator in providing helpdesk support and maintenance of all the CHRLC’s ICT Systems, including its Library
Management System, network support across multiple sites, Wireless and Internet
services, desktop support for software including Microsoft Office and web browsing applications and support for peripheral devices including printers and photocopiers.
Applicants must be able to work in a team environment, and have an enthusiasm for new technologies. A background in Information Technology or relevant study in this field is desirable.
This is a temporary part-time position of 17.5 hours a week until Friday the 28th of May, 2010. Ideally the successful applicant will work on Monday and Wednesday from 8.30pm to 3.30pm and Fridays from 8.30am to 3.00pm. This position is classified at Band Level 3A under the Victorian Local Government Award with an hourly rate of $19.76 per plus 9% superannuation.
